Unclean Duct System for Years

The client's daughter called about a few issues with the home’s HVAC system. The ducts hadn’t been cleaned in years, and with pets in the house, it was overdue for a thorough cleaning. On top of that, the dryer vent needed rerouting—right now, it was blowing lint into the basement, which wasn’t safe. The vent tube itself also needed a good cleaning. The house had a UVC light installed seven years ago, but it was on the return duct side and only the bulb had been replaced once. To improve the system, the team suggested that the UVC light needed to be moved over the A coil, where it would be more effective. With client being satisfied on the cleaning, she also requested the installation of a 20x25 BEZ filter and standard fogging to ensure everything was sanitized and running smoothly.

This installation was very smooth as the client's family was very nice, to begin with. They are an older couple who wanted to make sure their indoor air is safe and clean. 

This was an old home and the last the ducts were cleaned was in '98. Imagine the dirt and debris this home has. It was a return job due to the congested dirt but we were able to clean the whole system. 

This duct cleaning was involving a huge home with 2 HV units which we thought was a challenge. We found out his filter was no longer working as it has already been 8 years old. Suggested a replacement with BEZ. The customer agreed and wanted to make sure it was going to help deal with his wife's allergy problems. They were a lovely couple, concerns were solved and cleaning was a success!
